Notice of Transfer of Policies from Ravenhall Risk Solutions Ltd to Sydney Packett & Sons Ltd

As you may be aware from our website and social feeds, Ravenhall Risk Solutions Ltd (“Ravenhall”) has now become part of the Jensten Group of companies. As part of the integration of Ravenhall into the wider group we will form part of the regional Jensten business which in Yorkshire includes Sydney Packett & Sons Ltd (“Packetts”), another well regarded Chartered Insurance Broker with a strong brand, loyal customer base and brilliant service team.

It is not the intention that either business will lose their identity; these are well known and well-respected businesses. The next step in our integration is to tidy up the legal entity structure behind the region and this will involve bringing the brands and business under one legal entity. While we will continue to trade as Ravenhall Risk Solutions, I would like to let you know that your insurance policy and all your data will be transferred to the legal entity behind Packetts on 5th June 2023, which will become the data Controller and broker of record.

Please be reassured that you will not see any disruption to service and your cover will in no way be affected.  I am also pleased to confirm that I and the rest of the team will continue to look after you and service your business needs, to the same excellent standard you have come to expect.

Changes to our Bank Account Details

Our client trust bank account with Handelsbanken, which you will have used previously to pay your insurance premiums to us, is being closed at the same time that your policy transfers to Packetts.

When the account closes, all future payments will be made into a new client trust account with Barclays and we will communicate the account details to you on completion of the legal entity move. Please see Packetts Terms of Business for the way in which your money will be held in this account.
